Welcome to Paradoxism — A Christian Atheism for the Modern Heart
Paradoxism is a way of living that holds two truths at the same time:
We don’t need to believe in a supernatural God,
and yet we find real value in the teachings, life, and spirit of Jesus.
It’s a path for people who feel drawn to the beauty of the Christian story
but cannot honestly accept its miracles as literal facts.
Here, doubt isn’t a problem—it’s part of the practice.
What We Mean by “Christian Atheism”
Christian Atheism simply means:
- We don’t imagine God as a being in the sky.
- We treat “God” as a symbol for the highest, most loving way of living.
- We look to Jesus not as someone to worship,
but as someone who showed us how love can look when a human fully commits to it.
In other words:
We follow the way of Christ without requiring a supernatural Christ.
What Paradoxism Adds
Paradoxism embraces the tension at the heart of spiritual life:
- Faith and doubt can coexist.
- Meaning does not need certainty.
- Rituals can be symbolic and still be powerful.
- Love can be a law even if no one is enforcing it.
We use parables, reflection, community, and ethical practice—
not to escape the world,
but to engage it more deeply and lovingly.
In Plain Language
If traditional Christianity feels too literal,
and pure atheism feels too empty,
Paradoxism offers a middle way:
A spirituality without superstition.
A Christianity without the need to believe impossible things.
A life shaped by compassion, honesty, and the courage to live as Jesus lived—
whether or not anyone is watching.
Our Core Idea
Here is the heartbeat of Paradoxism:
“God” is the name we give to the moments when love becomes real between us.
Jesus is the story that teaches us how to make that love happen.
You don’t have to believe in a deity.
You only have to believe that love is worth the work.
