A Vow for the Uncertain

A vow for those who are sincere but uncertain, for the searching, and the honest. Not a declaration of belief, but a commitment to honesty, responsibility, and love—especially when answers are unclear. It names a way of gathering rooted in honesty and shared responsibility.
A Vow for the Uncertain

We do not gather because we are certain.
We gather because we are honest.

Many of us no longer know what we believe.
Some of us never truly did.
And we refuse to pretend otherwise.

We do not worship certainty, fear, or inherited answers.
We orient ourselves toward truth, responsibility, and love—
even when the path is unclear.

We believe meaning is not handed down from above,
but forged through how we live,
how we treat others,
and how we face reality without hiding.

We take responsibility for our lives and our world.
We do not wait for salvation later
while neglecting justice, compassion, and integrity now.

We remain open to change.
We remain willing to be wrong.
We remain committed to becoming more honest,
more present, and more human.

This is not a creed to memorize.
It is a direction to walk.

If you are confused but sincere—
If you are searching without pretending—
You belong here.

“We do not worship certainty. We practice honesty.”
